The Vacancy
This is an exciting opportunity to both teach Art at Stansfield Academy, and with the additional role of leading the Art curriculum across the Trust as part of the Trust School Development Team.
The role is based at Stansfield Academy where you will be responsible for Art provision and teach Art- up to GCSE level- for 4 days a week. As part of the broader Trust wide role, the successful candidate will have 1 day a week release to support the implementation and quality assurance of the Trust Art curriculum.
This excellent opportunity to make a difference will involve travel to our Trust academies in Devon and Cornwall, as well as times where you will be home based. We are looking for an experienced and exceptional candidate to drive forwards the quality of the Art curriculum and provision at Stansfield, as well as to support its implementation and impact across the Trust Art Subject Network.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, boundless patience and resilience and the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference with pupils who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.

About the Academy
Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision setting providing full time education for children from 4-16 years of age.
Catchment includes Central Devon including Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon working closely with Devon County Council to ensure a swift transition both into and out of the Academy to minimise the impact on pupil’s learning.
