Wave Multi Academy Trust is seeking a proactive and skilled Deputy Estates Manager to support the effective operational management of our estates services across Devon. This is a key role focused on ensuring our academies provide safe, secure, and well-maintained learning environments for pupils and staff.
Working closely with the Estates Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of premises management. You will coordinate and deliver both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all works comply with relevant regulatory, health and safety, fire, and security requirements. You will also support the day-to-day operation of estates services, contribute to the supervision and coordination of estates staff and contractors, and provide practical and technical advice to academy sites.
This hands-on role requires a strong practical background in building maintenance, including experience in carpentry, basic electrical work, plumbing, decorating, and general repairs. You will combine technical expertise with effective people management skills to help deliver a responsive, efficient, and compliant estates service across the Trust.
